Green Mango Salad Recipe

With a tropical floral taste while others describe them as more citrusy and tart, Green Mango Salad is an excellent way to reduce that extra pound of yours!

Prep Time - 15 minutes

Total Time - 15 minutes

Servings - 6 small servings (as a starter)


  • 600 gr of green mangoes (probably 2 mangoes without the seed and the skin off)

  • 1 large carrots sliced in matchsticks

  • 1 red onion


  • 2 tbs of lemon juice

  • 2 tbs soya sauce

  • 2 tbs sugar

  • 1 garlic clove sliced thinly

  • 1 Red chili thinly sliced (deseeded if you don’t like the heat)


  • 200g of roasted peanuts

  • 50g of coriander (leaves and some stems)

  • 30g of fresh mint leaves


  1. Peel the mangoes, remove the seed

  2. Peel the carrot

  3. Slice them into thin matchsticks

  4. Peel the onion and slice it thinly

  5. Coarsely chop the peanuts

  6. Prepare the dressing: mix all the ingredients

  7. Transfer the vegetables into a large serving bowl, mix it with the dressing, the herbs and ¾ of the peanuts, toss well

  8. Spread the rest of the peanuts on top
