Our events are never the same and that’s what keeps us passionate about what we do at 9Kitchens!
In early spring we celebrated International Women’s Day with BDO, AT Kearney, Islandbridge Capital and many more organisations – shining a light on female founders and philanthropists across the globe. Menus included all the pinks - preserved beetroot hummus, radicchio salads and Parisian rhubarb flan.
Brian Eno and Jamie Kelsey-Fry launched One World or None, a global campaign to combat climate change with a fully vegan menu – Kung Pao tofu, steamed dumplings, and Kadayif nests with rhubarb and orange blossom.
We prepared an Iftar feast for 100 people at the University of Westminster - Yemeni Chicken Mandi, Iranian Rice, Preserved Lemon Hummus and Afghan delicacies.
Canapes for Flying Seagulls, and a three-course vegan buffet for Counterpoint Arts - aloo chana, preserved lemon hummus, carrot, date and herb salad, Shabana’s famous Jeera rice, plus apple & passionfruit tart. Both organisations support displaced families. This year’s theme for Refugee Week is “Community is a superpower, and sustainability is key.” We fully agree.
Spring brings new citrus fruit, asparagus, new potatoes, radish, rocket and watercress. Please do contact us at hello@9kitchens.co.uk for our new seasonal menu. Happy Easter from all of us at 9Kitchens
